The Golf of Evian
Professionals or amateurs come from far away to enjoy the mythical 18-hole course of the city of Evian. Located at an altitude of 500 meters and offering a breathtaking view over Lake Geneva, the Alpine peaks and the city of Lausanne, the course was renovated in 2012 to the delight of golfers.
Do not hesitate to come and attend the various golf competitions organized in Evian, such as the Evian Championship, one of the major tournaments of the women's golf tour.
The Casino of Evian-les-Bains

The Palais Lumière
Architectural testimony of the golden age of thermalism in Evian at the beginning of the 20th century, the Palais Lumière offers a breathtaking view of the lake. The city's cultural centre, the Palais Lumière hosts numerous exhibitions each year and offers a rich and varied programme.
The Town Hall
This magnificent villa in the architectural style inspired by the Renaissance was for a long time the second residence of the family of Louis and Auguste Lumière, famous inventors of the cinematograph. This building became Evian City Hall in 1927.
The Castle of Blonay
Ideally located in front of the lake, the castle offers an exceptional view that charms all visitors. Home to the city's Casino since the end of the 19th century, this former seigneurial residence has been gradually and grandiosely converted. Don't miss its sumptuous Byzantine dome that stands out from the rest of the city's architecture.
The water gardens of the Pré Curieux

The Cachat source
Located opposite the refreshment bar of the same name, the Cachat spring is the best known in the city. It was after drinking there every day during his stay in Evian that Jean Charles de Laizer became aware of the healing properties of its waters.
Cultural activities in Evian
Throughout the year, Évian-les-Bains organises rich and varied cultural events. This year, you can discover:
- The exhibition "Picasso, l'atelier du minotaure" at the Palais Lumière which brings together paintings, sculptures, drawings, engravings... from private and public collections and presents the artist's work on this Cretan myth during the interwar period..;
- The exhibition "Evian mondain, l'âge d'or du thermalisme" at the Garibaldi House which traces the history of the town's thermalism from the end of the 19th century to the 1930s.
Dive into the history of the city's waters at the Espace Evian located on the ground floor of the Buvette Cachat built in 1903 in front of the fountain that discovered the virtues of Evian waters.
Festivals not to be missed
From December to January, come visit the « Fabuleux Village des Flottins », a Christmas story that will amaze young and old alike. It is a whole floating wooden village, decorated with sculptures, which invades the city at Christmas time. Come and stroll through these ephemeral streets that will surprise you at every turn.
Every year since 2014, the city hosts the Rencontres Musicales d'Evian, a must for classical music lovers. Discover for the occasion the unique concert hall of the Grange au Lac, built entirely of wood for an exceptional musical experience.
As Christmas approaches, you can also attend the "Jazz à la Grange" music festival, which will be held for the second year at the Casino Theatre and the Grange au Lac.
